Setup

Compatibility Check

This car stereo is specifically designed for Hyundai Santa Fe models manufactured between 2006 and 2012. To confirm compatibility with your vehicle, compare your car's central console with the provided images. If you are uncertain, please send a photo of your car's central console and the rear of your original CD player to CAMECHO support for verification before installation.

Installation Steps

  1. Disconnect Battery: Before starting any electrical work, disconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery to prevent short circuits.
  2. Remove Original Unit: Carefully remove the trim panels and screws securing your factory radio. Disconnect all wiring harnesses and antenna cables from the original unit.
  3. Connect Wiring Harness: Connect the provided CAMECHO power cable harness to your vehicle's wiring. Ensure all connections are secure. Refer to the wiring diagram in Figure 1 for specific connections including RCA, reversing camera, USB, GPS, and radio antennas.
  4. Install New Unit: Mount the CAMECHO car stereo into the dashboard opening using the provided brackets and screws. Reattach any trim panels.
  5. Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery.
  6. Initial Power On & Test: Turn on the vehicle's ignition and power on the car stereo. Test all functions (radio, Bluetooth, GPS, etc.) to ensure proper operation.

Operating Instructions

Initial Power On

After successful installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The car stereo should power on automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as language selection and time zone.

Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

This unit supports both Wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.

  • For Wireless Apple CarPlay:
    1. Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone and pair it with the car stereo.
    2. Open the 'Zlink' application on the car stereo.
    3. If connection fails, connect your iPhone to the car stereo's Wi-Fi hotspot, then reopen the 'Zlink' application.
    4. Maintain both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hotspot connections for stable CarPlay operation.
  • For Wireless Android Auto:
    1. Ensure the Android Auto application is installed on your Android phone.
    2. Activate Bluetooth on your Android phone and pair it with the car stereo.
    3. Open the 'Zlink' application on the car stereo.

Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly on the car stereo. This feature supports both iOS and Android devices.

  • For iPhone Mirror Link:
    1. Turn on your iPhone's personal hotspot.
    2. Connect the car stereo's Wi-Fi to your iPhone's hotspot.
    3. Open the 'PhoneLink' application on the car stereo.
    4. On your iPhone, access the AirPlay function and select the car stereo to mirror your screen.
    5. Alternatively, scan the QR code displayed in the 'PhoneLink' app to download the necessary mirroring application to your phone.
  • For Android Phone Mirror Link:
    1. Open the 'PhoneLink' app on the car stereo and scan the QR code to download the mirroring application to your Android phone.
    2. Follow the on-screen instructions for connection via USB cable or Wi-Fi.
    3. For USB connection, enable 'USB Debugging' in your phone's developer options and set the USB configuration to 'Data Transfer'.

GPS Navigation

FM/RDS Radio

Split Screen Function

The split-screen feature allows you to run two applications simultaneously on the 9-inch display.

  • For example, you can have navigation running on one side and music playback on the other.
  • To activate, long-press an app icon and drag it to one side of the screen, then select another app for the other side.
