5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to the battery and a power outlet. The charger indicator light will show charging status.
  2. To install the battery, align the battery pack with the slot at the base of the machine handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

Battery Guidelines: Battery life varies by usage and environment. To maintain performance, avoid overcharging or leaving the battery at 0% for extended periods.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for proper operation of the electric strapping machine:

6.1 Adjusting Tensioning Force and Welding Time

The machine features an LCD screen for precise adjustment of parameters. The display shows 'F' for tightening force and 'E' for welding time.

  1. Tightening Force (F1): Press the left button (F) to display F1. Use the middle (▲) button to increase tension and the right (▼) button to decrease tension. Calibration ranges from 1-6.
  2. Welding Time (F2): Press the left button (F) again to display F2. Use the middle (▲) button to increase welding time and the right (▼) button to decrease welding time. Calibration ranges from 1.0-5.0 seconds.

6.2 Loading Straps

  1. Wind the straps as shown in the video. Ensure the strap that needs to be cut is stacked on top.
  2. Lift the handle of the machine with your right hand.
  3. Insert the two parallel straps into the machine with your left hand, ensuring they are properly aligned.
  4. Release the handle to secure the straps.

6.3 Tensioning the Strap

  1. Press the tensioning button (located on top of the handle).
  2. The indicator light will display blue during the tensioning process.
  3. Once the desired strap tensioning strength is reached, release the switch knob. Do not press the switch knob beyond the desired tension to avoid breaking the straps.

6.4 Welding and Cutting the Strap

  1. Press the welding button (located on the side of the handle). Immediately remove your hands from the machine.
  2. The plastic strap will be welded, and the redundant strap will be cut off.
  3. The welding process is complete when the indicator light flashes blue.

6.5 Removing the Machine

  1. First, press the rewind button at the bottom of the machine.
  2. Then, lift the handle.
  3. Finally, remove the machine from the strapped package.
