Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the air conditioner and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Keep the packaging materials for storage or future transport.

Installation

This portable air conditioner is designed for easy DIY installation. It requires an exhaust duct to vent hot air outdoors. The included window panel kit facilitates this process.

  1. Place the unit on a flat, stable surface near a window.
  2. Attach the exhaust duct to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
  3. Install the window panel kit into your window opening. The panel is extendable from approximately 94cm to 127.5cm to fit various window sizes.
  4. Connect the other end of the exhaust duct to the opening in the window panel. Ensure a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
  5. For continuous dehumidification, connect the drain pipe to the drainage outlet and direct it to a suitable container or drain.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. The remote control allows for convenient adjustment of settings from up to 7 meters away.

Operating Modes

  • Cooling Mode: Set your desired temperature between 16°C and 30°C. The unit will cool the room efficiently, suitable for areas up to approximately 7 tatami mats.
  • Dehumidification Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, preventing condensation and mold growth. It has a dehumidification capacity of 16.8 liters per day. This mode can also assist in drying laundry indoors.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between weak and strong fan speeds to suit your preference.

Sleep Mode

When using the unit at night, select the Sleep Mode to reduce operational noise and save energy. Note that cooling capacity may be slightly reduced in this mode.

Maintenance

Filter Cleaning

Regular cleaning of the air filter is essential for maintaining the unit's efficiency and air quality. The filter is washable.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter under running water or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
  4. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

Drainage

The unit features an automatic evaporation function that reduces the need for frequent manual drainage. However, for continuous dehumidification or in very humid conditions, manual drainage or continuous drainage via the drain pipe may be necessary.

  • When the internal water tank is full, the unit will alert you and stop operation to prevent overflow.
  • To drain manually, place a shallow pan under the drainage outlet and remove the drain plug.
  • For continuous drainage, connect the provided drain pipe to the outlet and ensure it leads to a floor drain or a large container.
