Introduction

The Roku Outdoor Camera is designed to provide high-definition video surveillance for the exterior of your home. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Roku Outdoor Camera:

  1. Download the Roku Smart Home App: Search for "Roku Smart Home" in your device's app store and install it.
  2. Create an Account: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new Roku account or log in to an existing one.
  3. Add Your Camera: In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Roku Outdoor Camera" and follow the guided setup process.
  4. Choose a Mounting Location: Select an outdoor location that provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure the location is within Wi-Fi range and has access to a power outlet. The camera is IP65 weather resistant, suitable for various climates.
  5. Mount the Camera: Use the provided mounting kit, including the wall plate, screws, and anchors, to securely attach the camera to the desired surface. The 12.5 ft. weatherproof power adaptor allows for flexible placement.
  6. Connect to Power: Plug the camera's power adaptor into a suitable outdoor power outlet.
  7. Finalize Setup in App: Complete any remaining steps in the Roku Smart Home app, such as naming your camera and setting up detection zones.

Operating the Camera

Live View and Recording

Access live 1080p HD video streams from your camera at any time through the Roku Smart Home mobile app. You can also review recorded video clips, which are stored for 14 days with a Roku Smart Home Subscription. Without a subscription, only images are stored.

No Live Feed / Offline Camera:
