Operating Instructions

Preheating

Close the grill and allow it to preheat for approximately 5-7 minutes. The indicator light will signal when the grill has reached the optimal cooking temperature.

Grilling

  1. Once preheated, carefully open the grill.
  2. Place your food (e.g., steak, vegetables) onto the bottom cooking plate. Do not overload the grill.
  3. Gently close the top plate over the food. The floating hinge allows for even pressure on varying food thicknesses.
  4. Cook for the desired time, checking periodically for doneness. Cooking times will vary based on food type and thickness.
  5. Use heat-resistant, non-metallic utensils to remove cooked food.

Waffle Making

  1. Ensure waffle plates are installed and the grill is preheated.
  2. Lightly grease the waffle plates with cooking spray or a small amount of oil, if necessary.
  3. Pour waffle batter evenly onto the center of the bottom waffle plate. Do not overfill.
  4. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and steam stops escaping (typically 3-5 minutes).
  5. Carefully remove waffles using a non-metallic utensil.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your grill. Always ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.

  • Cleaning Plates: The non-stick cooking plates are removable for easy cleaning. They can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the grill with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray after each use.
  • Storage: Store the grill in a dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective cover, once it is clean and completely dry.
