1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your BITMAIN Antminer S19j XP 151TH/S Bitcoin ASIC Miner. Please read this document thoroughly before setting up or operating the device to ensure proper functionality and to prevent potential damage or injury. This miner is designed for SHA256-based cryptocurrency mining, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Bitcoin SV (BSV).
2. Safety Information
- Voltage Requirement: This device requires a 220-277V power supply. Connecting to an incorrect voltage (e.g., 110V) will likely cause severe damage to the miner and void the warranty.
- Power Cord: The power cord is NOT included in the package. Ensure you use a compatible power cord rated for the required voltage and current.
- Ventilation: Operate the miner in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Ensure adequate airflow around the device.
- Electrical Safety: Do not operate the miner in damp or wet conditions. Avoid touching internal components while the device is powered on.
- Professional Installation: If you are unsure about electrical connections, consult a qualified electrician.
3. Package Contents
Upon unpacking, verify that all components are present and undamaged. The standard package for the Antminer S19j XP typically includes:
- BITMAIN Antminer S19j XP 151TH/S ASIC Miner unit
- Documentation (this user manual, quick start guide)
Note: A power cord is NOT included and must be purchased separately. Ensure it is rated for 220-277V operation.

5. Setup
- Placement: Choose a location with stable temperature (ideally 25°C / 77°F or lower) and excellent ventilation. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides of the miner for optimal airflow.
- Power Connection: Connect a 220-277V power cord (not included) to the power input sockets on the miner. Ensure the power source is capable of providing 3247W.
- Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the control board. Ensure your network provides a stable internet connection.
- Initial Power-On: Once power and network cables are securely connected, switch on the power supply. The miner will begin its boot sequence.
6. Operating Instructions
- Accessing the Web Interface: After the miner boots up, use an IP scanner tool on your network to find the miner's IP address. Open a web browser and enter the IP address to access the miner's web interface.
- Login: Enter the default username and password (refer to the quick start guide or manufacturer's website for default credentials).
- Configure Mining Pool: Navigate to the 'Miner Configuration' or 'Settings' section. Enter the details for your chosen SHA256 mining pool (URL, Worker Name, Password). It is recommended to configure at least two backup pools.
- Save and Apply: Save your settings. The miner will restart or apply the new configuration and begin mining.
- Monitoring: Use the web interface to monitor the miner's status, hashrate, temperature, and fan speed.
7. Maintenance
- Dust Removal: Regularly inspect and clean the miner's fans and heatsinks to prevent dust buildup, which can impede cooling and reduce performance. Use compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the miner is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Environmental Control: Maintain a stable operating environment within the recommended temperature and humidity ranges to prolong the miner's lifespan.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official BITMAIN website for firmware updates. Applying updates can improve performance, stability, and security. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully during firmware upgrades.
8. Troubleshooting
- Miner Not Powering On: Verify the power cord is securely connected and the power source is providing 220-277V. Check circuit breakers.
- No Network Connection: Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the miner and the router/switch. Check network settings and router status.
- Low Hashrate: This could indicate overheating, an unstable network connection, or incorrect pool configuration. Check temperatures via the web interface and verify pool settings.
- Indicator Lights: Refer to the quick start guide for the meaning of specific LED indicator lights (e.g., 'Fault', 'Normal', 'IP Signal') to diagnose issues.
- Overheating: Ensure adequate ventilation. Clean fans and heatsinks. Reduce ambient temperature if possible.
