Operating Instructions
Starting the Charging Process
- Connect to AC Power: Once all battery connections are secure, plug the charger's AC input cable into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Automatic Detection: The charger will automatically detect the connected battery's voltage and type. The indicator lights for the detected battery type will illuminate.
- Select Charging Mode: For each bank, press the "MODE" button to cycle through the available battery types (SLA/AGM, Lithium, Calcium) until the correct mode for your battery is selected. The corresponding LED will light up.
- Charging Indication: The charging progress will be indicated by the LED segments. Each segment typically represents a percentage of charge.
- Completion: Once the battery is fully charged, all LEDs for that bank will be solid green, and the charger will switch to maintenance mode.
Force Mode (for deeply discharged batteries)
If a battery's voltage is below 1V, the charger may not automatically detect it. In such cases, use Force Mode:
- Connect the charger to the deeply discharged battery.
- Plug the charger into AC power.
- If the "12V Repair" indicator light illuminates, press and hold the "MODE" button for that bank to enter "Repair" mode. This will initiate charging for dead batteries.

Troubleshooting
The SOARFLY charger features smart diagnostic capabilities. If an issue occurs, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
| Indicator | Problem | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Over Voltage (U+) | Input voltage exceeds 15V. Charger will not operate. | Verify the battery voltage is within the acceptable range (12V nominal). Disconnect and reconnect. |
| Bad Battery | Battery is short-circuited or severely damaged. Charger will not charge. | Inspect battery for physical damage. Test battery with a multimeter. If severely damaged, replace the battery. |
| Over Temperature | Internal temperature exceeds 100°C. Charger will power off. | Allow the charger to cool down in a well-ventilated area. Ensure no obstructions are blocking airflow. |
| Reverse Connection | Positive and negative terminals are connected incorrectly. Charger will not charge. | Immediately disconnect the charger. Reconnect the RED (+) clamp to the positive terminal and the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative terminal. |
| No Charge Indication | Charger is connected but no lights are on or charging is not initiated. | Check AC power connection. Ensure battery terminals are clean and connections are secure. For deeply discharged batteries, try Force Mode. |
