1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read this manual carefully before using the EUREKA J12 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner and retain it for future reference. Adhere to all safety warnings and instructions to prevent electric shock, fire, or injury.

• This appliance is for indoor household use only. Do not use it outdoors or on commercial or industrial surfaces.
• Do not allow children to operate the robot vacuum. Supervise children and pets when the robot is operating.
• Ensure the charging station is placed on a flat, stable surface against a wall, with adequate space around it.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up large or sharp objects, liquids, or burning/smoking materials.
• Use only the manufacturer-specified charger and battery.
• Do not operate the robot if it is damaged or malfunctioning. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Only use the robot on dry surfaces. Do not use it in areas with standing water or excessive moisture.

3. Product Overview

The EUREKA J12 Ultra is an advanced robot vacuum cleaner designed for comprehensive floor cleaning. It features an all-in-one station that automates dust collection, mop washing, and drying, providing a hands-free cleaning experience.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Remove all protective films and packing materials from the robot and the station.

4.2 Station Placement

• Place the all-automatic station on a hard, level surface against a wall.
• Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides of the station and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of it.
• Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

4.3 Initial Charging

Place the robot onto the charging contacts of the station. The robot will automatically begin charging. Ensure the robot is fully charged before its first use.

4.4 App Download and Connection

1. Download the 'Eureka' app from your mobile device's app store.
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your EUREKA J12 Ultra.
3. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the setup process, as the robot only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting and Stopping Cleaning

• One-Touch Start: Press the power button on the robot or the station to start a cleaning cycle.
• App Control: Use the Eureka app to start, pause, or stop cleaning, and to schedule cleaning times.
• Voice Control: Integrate with Google Home or Alexa. Say commands like "Alexa, start cleaning" to control the robot.

5.2 Cleaning Modes

The EUREKA J12 Ultra offers various cleaning modes to suit different needs and floor types. These can be selected via the app.

• Vacuum + Mop (Simultaneous): For general cleaning, vacuuming and mopping at the same time.
• Vacuum Only: For carpets or when only dry cleaning is needed.
• Mop Only: For hard floors that require only mopping.

5.3 Navigation and Mapping

The robot uses LDS laser navigation to create a precise map of your home, allowing it to plan the most efficient cleaning path. It avoids re-entering already cleaned areas to prevent re-contamination.

5.4 Obstacle Avoidance

The DuoDetect AI™ 3D object recognition technology allows the robot to identify and avoid various obstacles, such as slippers, cables, and pet toys, even in low-light conditions.

5.5 Child Lock

Activate the child lock feature via the app to prevent accidental operation by children or pets.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your EUREKA J12 Ultra.

6.1 All-Automatic Station Maintenance

• Automatic Dust Collection: The station automatically empties the robot's dustbin into a sealed dust bag. Replace the dust bag when full (up to 75 days).
• Automatic Mop Washing & Drying: The station washes and hot-air dries the mop pads after each cleaning cycle, preventing odors and maintaining hygiene.
• Water Tanks: Regularly check and refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank.

6.2 Robot Components Maintenance

• Main Brush: Periodically remove the main brush and clean any tangled hair or debris.
• Side Brushes: Check side brushes for wear and tear. Replace if damaged. Clean any debris from the brushes.
• Filter: Clean the filter regularly by tapping out dust. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
• Mop Pads: While the station washes them, inspect mop pads for excessive wear or stubborn stains. Replace as needed.
• Sensors: Wipe all sensors on the robot with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper navigation.
