4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

If the battery is not pre-installed, follow these steps:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
2. Gently remove the battery cover.
3. Insert the battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
4. Replace the battery cover securely.

4.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device:

1. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the device's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the provided power adapter.
3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
4. The charging indicator will illuminate. Allow the device to charge until the indicator shows a full charge.

4.3. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the MUNBYN logo appears on the screen.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then select 'Power Off'.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Scanning Barcodes

The device is equipped with a Zebra SE4710 scanner engine for efficient barcode reading.

1. Open the pre-installed scanning application (e.g., Infowedge) or your preferred inventory management software.
2. Point the scanner's red light beam at the barcode you wish to scan. Ensure the entire barcode is within the beam's range.
3. Press the dedicated scan button (typically a yellow button on the side or back) to activate the scanner.
4. A successful scan will usually be indicated by an audible beep and/or a visual confirmation on the screen.

5.2. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks:

1. Navigate to Settings on the device.
2. Select Network & internet for Wi-Fi or Connected devices for Bluetooth.
3. Toggle Wi-Fi or Bluetooth On.
4. Select the desired network or device from the list and enter credentials if prompted.
