Front Panel

4. Setup Instructions

  2. Connect Display: Connect your monitor or TV to the Mini PC using an HDMI cable. The Bmax B4 supports triple-display output.
  3. Connect Network: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port. For wireless, ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in the operating system settings after initial setup.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC-in port on the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  5. Power On: Press the power button on the front panel of the Mini PC.

5. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press the power button once. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  • To Power Off:
    • Standard Shutdown: Use the operating system's shutdown function (recommended).
    • Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the device powers off. Use this only if the system is unresponsive.

Operating System

The Bmax B4 Mini PC comes with a pre-installed operating system. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup, including language selection, network configuration, and user account creation.

Display Configuration

The device supports 4K/60Hz resolution and triple-display output. To configure multiple displays, access your operating system's display settings. You can extend your desktop across multiple screens or duplicate the display.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the Mini PC. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the device.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation grilles are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
  • Software Updates: Regularly update your operating system and drivers to maintain optimal performance and security.
  • Storage: Avoid placing the Mini PC in direct sunlight or in environments with extreme temperatures or high humidity.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power:
    • Check if the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the power outlet.
    • Verify the power outlet is functional.
  • No Display:
    • Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
    • Check if the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
    • Try a different HDMI cable or monitor if available.
  • System Slowdown:
    • Close unnecessary applications.
    • Check for background processes consuming high resources.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent thermal throttling.
  • Peripheral Not Detected:
    • Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port.
    • Ensure the peripheral's drivers are installed (if required).
    • Restart the Mini PC.
