Operating Instructions

Before Measurement

  • Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
  • Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or consuming caffeine/alcohol for 30 minutes prior.
  • Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  • Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Apply the Cuff: Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint. Ensure the air tube runs down the center of your arm. The cuff should be snug but not too tight. The cuff is suitable for arm circumferences between 22 and 42 cm.
  2. Position Your Arm: Rest your arm on a table or other flat surface with your palm facing upwards. The cuff should be at the same level as your heart.
  3. Start Measurement: Press the 'Start/Stop' button. The cuff will inflate automatically, and the measurement will begin. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  4. Read Results: Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the large LCD screen.
