Operating Instructions
Before Measurement
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or consuming caffeine/alcohol for 30 minutes prior.
- Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Place your arm on a flat surface so the cuff is at heart level.
Taking a Measurement
- Apply the Cuff: Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint. Ensure the air tube runs down the center of your arm. The cuff should be snug but not too tight. The cuff is suitable for arm circumferences between 22 and 42 cm.
- Position Your Arm: Rest your arm on a table or other flat surface with your palm facing upwards. The cuff should be at the same level as your heart.
- Start Measurement: Press the 'Start/Stop' button. The cuff will inflate automatically, and the measurement will begin. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- Read Results: Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the large LCD screen.

Memory Functions
The device stores 2 x 99 measurement values, allowing for tracking of readings for up to two users. To access stored readings, press the 'Memory' button. Use the navigation buttons (if available) to scroll through the stored data. The date and time of each measurement are also recorded.
Understanding Your Readings
- Systolic Pressure (SYS): The highest pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- Diastolic Pressure (DIA): The lowest pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
- Pulse Rate (PUL): The number of times your heart beats per minute.
- Arrhythmia Detection: If an irregular heartbeat is detected, a specific symbol will appear on the display. Consult your doctor if this occurs frequently.
