5. Operating Instructions
Control your Eureka J12 Ultra using the dedicated mobile application for a customized cleaning experience.
- App Download and Wi-Fi Connection:
- Download the "Eureka Robot" app from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
- Add your device by selecting "NER E10s" (or J12 Ultra if available) and follow the prompts to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz.
- First-Time Cleaning and Mapping:
- For the first cleaning, allow the robot to start from the charging base and clean the entire home to generate a floor map. This map is crucial for advanced features.
- Once the map is generated, you can use the app to divide, merge, and name rooms.
- Cleaning Modes: The app allows you to choose various cleaning modes and preferences:
- Full Cleaning: Cleans the entire mapped area.
- Room Cleaning: Select specific rooms to clean.
- Zone Cleaning: Define custom areas for targeted cleaning.
- No-Go Zones: Set virtual walls or no-go zones to restrict the robot from certain areas (e.g., pet bowls, delicate items).
- Water Level & Suction Power: Adjust these settings based on your floor type and cleaning needs.
- Carpet Mode: Enable for automatic suction increase on carpets.
- Scheduled Cleaning: Set up cleaning schedules for specific times and days of the week. You can also select which rooms to clean during scheduled tasks.
- Handling Trapped Robot: If the robot vacuum becomes trapped (e.g., on a rug or under furniture), remove the machine and clear the obstruction. For rugs, consider securing them with tape to prevent entanglement.
