3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully unpack the power supply unit and all accessories. Verify that all items listed in the package contents are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact customer service immediately.
3.2 Power Input Configuration
Before connecting the power supply to an AC outlet, ensure the input voltage selector switch on the rear panel is set correctly for your region (AC110V or AC220V). Incorrect voltage selection can damage the unit.

3.3 Connecting Test Leads
Connect the provided test leads to the output terminals on the front panel. Ensure proper polarity: red to positive (+), black to negative (-), and green to ground (GND).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On
After connecting the AC power cord and setting the voltage selector, press the green POWER button (14) on the front panel to turn on the unit. The display will illuminate, showing the last set voltage and current values.
4.2 Adjusting Voltage and Current
The SPS-6005M features encoder knobs for precise adjustments:
- Voltage Adjustment: Rotate the VOLTAGE knob (10) to adjust the voltage. Press the knob to select the digit you wish to change (e.g., tens, units, tenths, hundredths). The selected digit will blink. Rotate the knob to change its value.
- Current Adjustment: Rotate the CURRENT knob (11) to adjust the current. Similar to voltage, press the knob to select the digit and rotate to change its value.

4.3 Output Control
Press the OUTPUT button (16) to enable or disable the power output to the terminals. This allows you to set voltage and current parameters before applying power to your circuit, enhancing safety.
4.4 USB Charging Ports
The unit includes USB-A (12) and USB-C (13) ports for quick charging external devices. These ports provide 20W fast charging and operate independently of the main DC output settings.

4.5 Protection Features (OCP, OVP, OPN)
- Over-Current Protection (OCP): Press the OCP Setting Button (15) to enter OCP setting mode. You can set a maximum current limit. If the load current exceeds this limit, the power supply will cut off output and the OCP indicator (8) will flash.
- Over-Voltage Protection (OVP): The unit has a fixed OVP (7) to protect against excessive output voltage.
- OPN (Output Status Setting): This function allows you to configure whether the output is enabled automatically upon power-on or remains off until the OUTPUT button is pressed. The OPN status LED (9) indicates the current setting.
4.6 Screen Brightness Adjustment
To adjust the screen brightness, simultaneously rotate both the CURRENT and VOLTAGE knobs. Rotate them right to increase brightness or left to decrease brightness.

5. Maintenance
- Cooling Fan: The integrated temperature-regulated cooling fan (20) automatically activates when the internal temperature rises to ensure optimal performance and prolong product lifespan. Ensure the fan vents are not obstructed.
- General Cleaning: Keep the unit clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Fuse Replacement: If the unit fails to power on, check the fuse located near the AC inlet (23) on the rear panel. Replace with a fuse of the same specification if blown.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected and the AC input voltage selector on the rear is correctly set. Check the fuse.
- No Output: Verify that the OUTPUT button is enabled. Check if OCP or OVP indicators are active, indicating a protection trigger. Resolve any short circuits or overcurrent conditions.
- Inaccurate Readings: While highly accurate, ensure proper connections and calibrated test leads for critical applications.
- Fan Constantly Running: This is normal if the unit is under heavy load and generating heat. Ensure proper ventilation.
