2.2. Pre-Installation Notes
Before proceeding with installation, please note the following critical information:
- If your vehicle is equipped with a Bose or Harman Kardon stereo system, and the original back connector matches the one shown in the image, your vehicle uses a fiber optic wiring harness. An additional fiber optic decoder will be required for sound output. Without this decoder, your stereo will not produce sound.
- If the radio does not turn on after installation, check the wiring. Ensure the big head wire connection (green frame and red frame connector) and small wire connection (blue frame and red frame interface) are correctly connected. The protocol box connector cannot be connected at the same time as the indicated arrow connector in the diagram; one of them needs to be disconnected.

2.3. Wiring Diagram

2.4. Backup Camera Connection
To connect the AHD backup camera:
- Connect the red wire of the camera to the positive terminal of the reverse light.
- Connect the black wire of the camera to the negative terminal of the reverse light.
- The reversing trigger (usually a small red wire on the RCA cable) does not need to be connected, as the reversing trigger is controlled by the stereo unit itself via the Canbus.

2.5. Steering Wheel Control Setup
After connecting the Canbus correctly, you need to set up the steering wheel controls:
- Go to 'Settings' > 'Factory Setup'.
- Input password '1234'.
- Navigate to 'Car Settings'.
- Choose 'Oudi +' and select the year and model of your car.
