2. Important Safety Information

To prevent injury to the user or other people and property damage, the following instructions must be followed. Incorrect operation due to ignoring instructions may cause harm or damage.

• Electrical Safety: Always plug the unit into a grounded 115V, 60Hz AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Do not operate the dehumidifier if the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a level, sturdy surface. Ensure there is at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper air circulation. Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Water Bucket: Always ensure the water bucket is correctly installed before operation. Do not drink the collected water.
• Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the dehumidifier during operation. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

3. Product Overview

3.1 Components

Familiarize yourself with the main components of your dehumidifier:

• Control Panel: Located on the top of the unit, used to set and monitor operations.
• Air Outlet: Where dry air is expelled.
• Air Inlet: Where humid air is drawn in.
• Water Bucket: Collects condensed moisture. Features a slide-out design and easy-carry handle.

3.2 Control Panel

The control panel allows you to manage all functions of the dehumidifier. Refer to the image below for button identification and their functions.

• Display: Shows current humidity level, timer settings, and error codes.
• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes: Auto Dry, Continuous, Manual Set.
• Fan Button: Adjusts fan speed: Low, High, Auto.
• Timer Button: Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
3. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

4.2 Placement

Proper placement is crucial for efficient operation:

• Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface strong enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water.
• Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of air space on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation.
• Do not place the unit near heat-generating appliances or in direct sunlight.
• For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.
• The unit dimensions are approximately 10.7"D x 15.1"W x 24.8"H. Consider these dimensions when choosing a location.

4.3 Initial Setup

1. Ensure the water bucket is correctly seated in the unit.
2. Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V, 60Hz AC outlet.
3. The unit will beep once, and the display will show the current room humidity.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.

5.2 Setting Desired Humidity Level (Manual Set Mode)

1. Press the MODE button until "Manual Set" is selected.
2. Use the + or - buttons to set the desired humidity level between 30% and 80% relative humidity (RH) in 5% increments.
3. The unit will operate until the set humidity level is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.

5.3 Operating Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the following modes:

• Auto Dry: The unit automatically sets the humidity level to 50% RH and adjusts fan speed.
• Continuous: The unit operates continuously regardless of the humidity level. Ideal for very damp conditions or for drying clothes.
• Manual Set: Allows you to manually set the desired humidity level (as described in 5.2).

5.4 Fan Speed

Press the FAN button to select the desired fan speed:

• Low: Quieter operation, suitable for maintaining humidity.
• High: Maximum moisture removal, faster drying.
• Auto: Fan speed adjusts automatically based on the humidity level.

5.5 Timer Function

The timer function allows you to set the unit to automatically turn on or off after a set period (1-24 hours).

• Auto-Off: While the unit is running, press the TIMER button. Use + or - to set the desired off-time.
• Auto-On: While the unit is off, press the TIMER button. Use + or - to set the desired on-time.

5.6 Continuous Drainage

For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, you can connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet.

1. Ensure the unit is off and unplugged.
2. Locate the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit.
3. Remove the plastic cap (if present).
4. Thread a standard garden hose onto the outlet. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.
5. Direct the other end of the hose to a floor drain or suitable receptacle, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
6. If your model has a pump function, press the PUMP button to activate it for upward drainage.

5.7 Emptying the Water Bucket

When the water bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the "Bucket Full" indicator will illuminate. To empty:

1. Gently pull the water bucket out from the front of the unit using the easy-carry handle.
2. Carefully carry the bucket to a sink or drain.
3. Pour out the collected water.
4. Slide the empty bucket back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The "Clean Filter" indicator light will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation. Clean the filter regularly to prevent reduced airflow and efficiency.

1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
2. Locate the air filter behind the air inlet grille (typically on the back or side).
3. Gently pull out the filter.
4. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.
6. Once the filter is reinserted, plug in the unit and press the CLEAN FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the filter timer.

6.2 Cleaning the Dehumidifier Body

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.

6.3 Storage

If you plan to store the dehumidifier for an extended period:

1. Empty the water bucket and ensure it is completely dry.
2. Clean the air filter.
3. Disconnect any continuous drain hose.
4. Wrap the power cord neatly.
5. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
