4. Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new filter (AM107423).
5. Screw on the new filter by hand until the gasket makes contact, then tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Do not overtighten.
6. Check for leaks after starting the engine.

3. In-Line Fuel Filter Replacement (AM116304)

1. Locate the in-line fuel filter, typically between the fuel tank and the carburetor/fuel pump.
2. Use clamps to pinch off the fuel lines on both sides of the filter to prevent fuel leakage.
3. Remove the hose clamps securing the old filter and detach the fuel lines.
4. Install the new fuel filter (AM116304), ensuring the arrow on the filter points in the direction of fuel flow (towards the engine).
5. Secure the fuel lines with new or existing hose clamps.
6. Remove the pinch clamps and check for leaks.

4. Transmission Oil Filter Replacement (MIA881446 - 2 filters)

1. Locate the transmission oil filters, typically on the hydrostatic transaxles. There are two.
2. Place a drain pan under each filter.
3. Using a filter wrench, loosen and remove the old transmission oil filters.
4. Clean the mounting surfaces.
5. Apply a thin coat of new transmission fluid to the gaskets of the new filters (MIA881446).
6. Screw on the new filters by hand until the gasket makes contact, then tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Do not overtighten.
7. Check fluid levels and add appropriate transmission fluid if necessary, according to your mower's manual.
8. Check for leaks after operating the mower.

5. Spark Plug Replacement (M802138 - 2 plugs)

1. Locate the spark plugs on the engine.
2. Carefully disconnect the spark plug wires by pulling on the boot, not the wire.
3. Use a spark plug socket wrench to loosen and remove the old spark plugs.
4. Inspect the old spark plugs for signs of wear or fouling.
5. Gap the new spark plugs (M802138) to the specification found in your mower's manual (if required).
6. Thread the new spark plugs into the cylinder head by hand to prevent cross-threading.

8. Reconnect the spark plug wires, ensuring they click into place.
