Initial Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the speaker and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.
  2. Charging the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the speaker's built-in rechargeable battery using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the speaker's charging port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status.
  3. Power On: Locate the power switch on the speaker's control panel. Toggle it to the 'ON' position to power on the device.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To power on the speaker, toggle the power switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, toggle the switch to the 'OFF' position.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. The speaker will typically enter pairing mode automatically, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or audible prompt.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "TPRO PLT8" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm the connection, and you can begin playing audio wirelessly. The Bluetooth range is approximately 30 feet.

USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or SD card (up to 64GB) containing .mp3 audio files into the respective port on the control panel.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the media and begin playback.
  3. Use the playback controls on the speaker or the remote control to play, pause, skip tracks, or repeat.

FM Radio

  1. Switch the speaker to FM Radio mode.
  2. Press the 'Play/Pause' button to initiate an automatic scan for available FM stations. The speaker will save detected stations.
  3. Use the 'Previous/Next' buttons to navigate through the saved stations.

Microphone Input

  1. Connect a 1/4'' microphone to the 'MIC IN' port on the rear panel.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume and echo effect using the dedicated knobs on the control panel.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

  1. Ensure you have two TECDF speakers. Power on both speakers.
  2. Select one speaker as the primary unit. Press and hold the TWS button on the primary speaker.
  3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, both speakers will play audio in stereo from a single Bluetooth source.

LED Visual Effects

The speaker features an LED Glow Wall with various lighting modes, including a burning mode and a running LED ring. Use the dedicated LED power switch or controls to cycle through different effects or turn them off.

Care and Maintenance

Troubleshooting

No sound from the speaker.Check the volume level on both the speaker and the connected device. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, USB, AUX) is selected. Verify cables are securely connected for AUX or microphone inputs.
Bluetooth device cannot pair.Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Make sure the speaker is within the 30-foot range of your device. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device, then try pairing again. Ensure no other device is currently connected to the speaker.
USB/SD card not playing.Ensure the USB drive or SD card is formatted correctly and contains compatible .mp3 files. Check that the card/drive is inserted fully. The maximum supported size is 64GB.
LED lights are not working.Check the LED power switch or controls to ensure the LED effects are enabled.
