1. Product Overview
The TIMESS 12-inch Atomic Wall Clock is designed for precise timekeeping, automatically synchronizing with the WWVB radio signal from the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This battery-operated clock features an analog display for time, complemented by an LCD screen that shows the month, date, weekday, and real-time Fahrenheit temperature. Its non-ticking, silent sweep movement ensures a peaceful environment, making it suitable for various settings including homes, offices, and classrooms.

3. Package Contents
Please check the package carefully to ensure all items are present:
- 1 x TIMESS Atomic Analog Wall Clock (Blue, 12 Inch)
- 1 x User Manual
Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. The clock requires 1x carbon battery for operation.
4. Setup Guide
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Insert one (1) new carbon battery (AA size, not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Initial Synchronization and Time Zone Setting
Upon battery installation, the clock will attempt to receive the WWVB atomic time signal. This process may take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and signal strength. For optimal reception, place the clock near a window, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

Important: Time Zone Selection
On the back of the clock movement, there is a time zone selector switch. You must select the correct time zone for your region (PST, MST, CST, EST) for the clock to display the accurate time after synchronization. Failure to do so will result in incorrect time display even if the atomic signal is received.
- PST: Pacific Standard Time
- MST: Mountain Standard Time
- CST: Central Standard Time
- EST: Eastern Standard Time
Once the time zone is set and the signal is received, the analog hands will automatically adjust to the correct time, and the LCD display will show the correct date and temperature.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Reading the Time
The analog hands display the current time (hours, minutes, seconds). The smooth sweep second hand ensures silent operation.
5.2 Understanding the LCD Display
The integrated LCD display provides additional information:
- Month and Date: Displays the current month and day.
- Weekday: Shows the current day of the week (e.g., SAT for Saturday).
- Temperature: Displays the ambient temperature in Fahrenheit (°F).
- Signal Indicator: A small icon (often a radio tower or waves) on the LCD indicates successful reception of the WWVB atomic signal.

5.3 Automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) Adjustment
The clock is designed to automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time changes. However, in some rare cases or areas with weak signals, manual adjustment might be required if the clock does not update after 2-3 days. Ensure your time zone is correctly selected.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When the clock hands stop moving or the LCD display fades, it's time to replace the battery. Always use a new carbon battery for optimal performance. Avoid using alkaline batteries as they may cause issues with the clock's mechanism or atomic synchronization.
- Remove the old battery from the compartment.
- Insert a new carbon battery, observing correct polarity.
- The clock will re-attempt to synchronize with the atomic signal.
6.2 Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the clock's finish or internal components.
