4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective films. Ensure all transit bolts are removed from the rear of the appliance before installation. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
4.2 Placement and Leveling
Place the washing machine on a flat, stable surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation and maintenance. Use a spirit level to check if the machine is perfectly level. Adjust the adjustable feet at the bottom of the machine until it is stable and level. Proper leveling prevents excessive vibration and noise during operation.

4.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. Do not use old hoses; always use the new hoses supplied with the appliance.
4.4 Drain Connection
The drain hose can be hooked into a sink or connected to a dedicated drain pipe. Ensure the hose is securely fastened to prevent it from dislodging during the wash cycle. The end of the drain hose should be at a height between 65 cm and 100 cm from the floor.

4.5 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the appliance's rating plate. Do not use extension cords or adapters. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Before the First Wash
Before washing laundry for the first time, run a short cycle without laundry and detergent to clean the drum. Select a short program, such as 'Rapid 20min', and start the cycle.
5.2 Loading Laundry
Open the washing machine door and load the laundry. Do not overload the machine; ensure there is enough space for the clothes to tumble freely. Close the door firmly.
5.3 Adding Detergent and Additives
Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the main wash compartment (usually marked with 'II' or 'Main Wash'). If using liquid detergent, ensure the liquid detergent insert is in place. Add fabric softener to the compartment marked with a flower symbol. Close the dispenser drawer gently.

5.4 Program Selection
Turn the program selector knob to choose the desired wash program. The display will show the estimated cycle time and other relevant information. The machine offers 16 washing programs, categorized as Special, Traditional, and Extra:

5.5 Starting a Cycle
Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the selected wash cycle. The indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will start filling with water. You can pause the cycle at any time by pressing the 'Start/Pause' button again.
5.6 Special Functions
- Delay Start: Allows you to postpone the start of the wash cycle by a certain number of hours.
- Steam Function: Certain programs may offer a steam option to help relax fibers and reduce wrinkles.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.
6.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser Drawer
Periodically remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent residue or mold buildup. Use a brush if necessary. Reinsert the drawer once clean.
6.2 Cleaning the Drum
To prevent odors and maintain hygiene, run a drum cleaning cycle (if available) or a hot wash cycle with a washing machine cleaner or a cup of white vinegar once a month. Leave the door ajar after each wash to allow the drum to air dry.
6.3 Cleaning the Drain Filter
The drain filter should be cleaned regularly, especially if you notice issues with draining or excessive lint. Follow these steps:
- Place a shallow container or towel under the filter access panel to catch any residual water.
- Open the filter access panel, usually located at the bottom front of the machine.
- Slowly unscrew the filter counter-clockwise until water starts to drain. Allow all water to drain.
- Once drained, fully remove the filter and clean it under running water, removing any lint, coins, or foreign objects.
- Check the filter housing for any blockages.
- Screw the filter back in clockwise until it is tight. Close the access panel.

6.4 Care for the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
