1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your GMKtec K7 Plus Mini PC. Designed for high performance and versatility, this mini PC is suitable for a wide range of applications including home office, media center, HTPC, digital signage, and heavy computing tasks.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Connecting Peripherals

1. Power Connection: Connect the power supply cable to the DC IN port on the mini PC and then plug it into a power outlet.
2. Display Connection: Connect your monitor(s) to the mini PC using the available HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C (USB4.0) ports. The K7 Plus supports triple screen display.

3. Keyboard and Mouse: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the USB 3.2 ports. Wireless peripherals can be connected via Bluetooth 5.2.
4. Network Connection: For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the dual 2.5G LAN ports. For wireless internet, the mini PC supports WiFi 6.

3.2 Initial Boot-up

Press the power button located on the front of the mini PC. The system will boot up, and you will be guided through the initial operating system setup (e.g., Windows 11 Pro or Linux/Ubuntu, depending on your configuration).

3.3 VESA Mount Installation (Optional)

The included VESA mount allows you to attach the mini PC to the back of a compatible monitor or to a wall, saving desk space.

1. Attach the VESA bracket to the back of your monitor or desired surface using the provided screws.
2. Slide the mini PC onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.

• USB Ports: Utilize the multiple USB 3.2 ports for connecting external devices such as storage drives, printers, and other peripherals. The USB4.0 port offers high-speed data transfer up to 40 Gbps and 8K@60Hz display output.
• Ethernet: The dual 2.5G Intel i226V Ethernet ports provide high-speed wired network connectivity, ideal for stable internet access and network-attached storage (NAS) applications.
• Wireless: Integrated WiFi 6 ensures fast and reliable wireless internet, while Bluetooth 5.2 allows for seamless connection to wireless headphones, speakers, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

5.1 Cleaning

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, keep your mini PC clean:

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior.
• For dust accumulation in vents, use compressed air. Ensure the PC is powered off before cleaning.
