4. Controls and Ports

4.1. Control Panel

The main control panel is located on the top of the speaker, featuring a rotary knob for volume control and various buttons for playback, mode selection, and light effects.

4.2. Input/Output Ports

The connectivity ports are located on the rear of the speaker, protected by a rubber flap to maintain splash resistance.

• USB Port: For USB flash drive playback.
• AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for wired audio connection.
• TF Card Slot: For Micro TF card playback.
• DC 5V Port: USB-C port for charging the speaker.
• RST (Reset) Button: Small pinhole for factory reset.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V/2A power adapter (not included).
3. The charging indicator lights will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 24 hours of playtime.

5.2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the power button. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "W-KING T9-2" from the list.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5.3. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve 160W stereo sound, you can pair two W-KING T9-2 speakers together:

1. Ensure both T9-2 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (usually indicated by two interlocking arrows or a similar icon).
3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, both speakers will emit a confirmation tone, and their TWS indicators will light up.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.2. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Playback

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button.
• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
• Volume Control: Rotate the volume knob clockwise to increase, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Next Track: Press the Next Track button.
• Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button.

6.2. Mode Switching

Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through available playback modes: Bluetooth, AUX, TF Card, and USB.

6.3. EQ Modes

Press the EQ button to switch between different equalization modes, including a bass boost option for enhanced low frequencies.

6.4. LED Light Control

Press the Light button (often indicated by a sun or star icon) to cycle through the seven mixed-color LED light modes or to turn the lights off.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX5 splash-resistant. Do not submerge it in water or expose it to heavy rain. Ensure the port cover is securely closed when near water.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and at least once every three months if not used regularly.
