5. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly set up your Cantonape voltage transformer:
- Unpack the Transformer: Carefully remove the transformer from its packaging and place it on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Verify Appliance Wattage: Ensure that the total wattage of the appliance(s) you intend to connect does not exceed 50% of the transformer's maximum capacity (3000W). For example, do not connect appliances totaling more than 2000W to this 3000W transformer.
- Select Input Voltage: Locate the input voltage selector switch on the rear panel of the transformer. Crucially, set this switch to match the local power supply voltage (e.g., 110V for North America, 220V for regions like Europe or Asia). Incorrect selection will damage the unit.

- Connect Transformer to Power: Plug the transformer's power cord into a grounded wall outlet that matches the selected input voltage.
- Connect Appliances: With the transformer's power switch in the 'OFF' position, plug your appliance(s) into the appropriate output sockets on the front panel. Use the 110V output sockets for 110-120V appliances and the 230V output sockets for 220-240V appliances.
6. Operating Instructions
Once the setup is complete, you can begin using your voltage transformer:
- Power On: Flip the 'ON/OFF' switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position. The Power LED indicator will illuminate, signifying that the transformer is active. There may be a brief 5-second boot delay before output voltage is available.
- Voltage Conversion:
- Step Up (110-120V to 220-240V): If your local power is 110-120V (e.g., USA) and you need to power a 220-240V appliance, ensure the rear input switch is set to 110V. Plug your 220-240V appliance into one of the 230V output sockets.
- Step Down (220-240V to 110-120V): If your local power is 220-240V (e.g., Europe) and you need to power a 110-120V appliance, ensure the rear input switch is set to 220V. Plug your 110-120V appliance into one of the 110V output sockets.
- Simultaneous Output: This transformer can provide both 110V and 230V output simultaneously, regardless of the input voltage, as long as the total connected wattage does not exceed the transformer's capacity.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the transformer from the wall outlet.

7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your transformer, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

- Ventilation: Periodically check that the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.

8. Troubleshooting
