1. Introduction

3. Setup
3.1. Monitor Assembly
To assemble the monitor stand:
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand base to the stand neck. Align the pins on the stand neck with the pinholes on the base and secure by turning the screw on the underside of the base by hand.
- Attach the assembled stand to the back of the monitor. Align the stand with the mounting points on the monitor and push until it clicks into place.

3.2. Connecting the Monitor
The monitor supports HDMI and VGA connections. It also features a 3.5mm audio output.

- Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input and then to a power outlet.
- Connect the HDMI cable (included) from your computer's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input. Alternatively, use a VGA cable for VGA connections.
- (Optional) Connect external speakers or headphones to the 3.5mm audio output jack on the monitor.
The monitor is VESA compatible, allowing for flexible mounting options (mounting hardware sold separately).
4. Operating the Monitor
4.1. Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the bottom right of the monitor to turn it on or off.
4.2. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the buttons located on the bottom bezel of the monitor to navigate the menu.
- Press the menu button to open the OSD.
- Use the navigation buttons (usually arrows) to move through options.
- Press the OK/Enter button to select an option or confirm a setting.
- Press the Exit button to close the OSD.
4.3. Adjusting Display Settings (Windows)
For optimal performance, ensure your computer's display settings are correctly configured:
- Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select "Display settings".
- Under "Display resolution", select 1920 x 1080 (Recommended).
- Scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings".
- Under "Choose a refresh rate", select the highest available refresh rate, which is 100 Hz for this monitor (when connected via HDMI).
- Confirm any changes if prompted.
4.4. Eye Care Features
The monitor includes features to reduce eye strain:
- LowBlue Mode: Reduces harmful shortwave blue light. Activate or deactivate via the OSD menu.
- Flicker-free Technology: Regulates brightness and reduces flicker for a more comfortable viewing experience. This feature is always active.
- EasyRead Mode: Provides a paper-like experience for reading lengthy documents, reducing eye fatigue. Accessible via the OSD menu.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Philips monitor:
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, use a screen-cleaning solution specifically designed for monitors, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
- Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the monitor casing. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the back of the monitor are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Power Off: Always turn off the monitor and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning or if it will be unused for an extended period.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, try the following steps:
- No Power:
- Check if the power cord is securely connected to the monitor and the power outlet.
- Ensure the power outlet is functioning correctly.
- Verify the power adapter is properly connected.
- No Image/Black Screen:
- Ensure the monitor is powered on.
- Check if the video cable (HDMI or VGA) is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer.
- Verify the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
- Restart your computer.
- Flickering Screen:
