Setup Instructions

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the XPOWER FM-65 from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damage is found, do not operate and contact customer support.
  3. Ensure all components are present: FM-65 unit, water hose connector, 3 mist nozzles, and nozzle cleaner.

Placement

  • Place the fan on a stable, level surface.
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the fan for optimal airflow.
  • For misting operation, position the fan in an outdoor area where water mist will not damage sensitive items or create slip hazards.

Connecting for Misting Function

  1. Locate the water line inlet on the side of the FM-65 unit.
  2. Attach the provided water hose connector to a standard garden hose.
  3. Connect the garden hose with the connector to the water line inlet on the fan. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks.
  4. Ensure the 3 mist nozzles are securely installed in their designated ports on the fan's grille.
  5. Slowly turn on the water supply to the garden hose. Check for any leaks.

Note: The unit can be used as an air circulator without connecting the water line.

Operating Instructions

Power Connection

  1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit features in-line GFCI protection.
  2. Before each use, test the GFCI by pressing the "TEST" button. The "RESET" button should pop out. Press "RESET" to restore power. If it does not reset, do not use the unit and contact customer support.

Fan Operation (Air Circulation)

  1. Turn the control knob located on the top of the unit to the desired speed setting: 1 (Low), 2 (Medium), or 3 (High).
  2. To turn off the fan, rotate the control knob to the "OFF" position.
  3. Adjust the fan's angle by tilting the unit on its stand to direct airflow as needed. The unit supports 360° rotation.

Misting Operation

  1. Ensure the water hose is connected and the water supply is turned on (refer to "Connecting for Misting Function" in Setup).
  2. Turn the fan on to your desired speed setting (1, 2, or 3). The misting function will activate automatically when water supply is connected and the fan is running.
  3. Monitor the mist output. If mist is uneven or reduced, check for clogged nozzles (refer to Maintenance).
  4. To stop misting, turn off the water supply to the garden hose first, then turn the fan to the "OFF" position.

Important: Always turn off the water supply before turning off the fan when using the misting function to prevent water from dripping from the nozzles after the fan stops.
