3. Setup

3.1 Installation

The thermostat can be installed in two ways: wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop using the provided bracket.

  • Wall Mounting: Secure the bracket to a suitable wall location using appropriate fasteners (not included). Ensure the location allows for accurate temperature sensing and is away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources.
  • Tabletop Placement: Attach the thermostat unit to the bracket for stable placement on any flat surface.

3.2 Powering On

The thermostat unit is battery-powered. The receiver unit requires AC power.

  • Thermostat Unit: Insert three 1.5V AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.

4.1 Operating Modes

The thermostat supports two primary operating modes:

  • Automatic Mode: Follows the programmed weekly schedule.
  • Manual Mode: Maintains a constant temperature set by the user, overriding the schedule.
