3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Placement

The TOPUTURE Walking Pad arrives fully assembled and ready for use after unboxing. No complex assembly is required.

  1. Carefully remove the walking pad from its packaging. It weighs approximately 40 lbs (18.5 kg), so assistance may be helpful.
  2. Place the walking pad on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 2 feet (60 cm) of clear space behind and on both sides of the unit for safe operation.
  3. For optimal performance and safety, avoid placing the unit on thick carpets that might obstruct ventilation or interfere with the incline mechanism.

3.2 Power Connection

  1. Locate the power cord and the power input port on the walking pad.
  2. Connect the power cord securely to the walking pad's power input.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Turn on the main power switch, usually located near the power cord input (often a red switch).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Off

  • After connecting the power and turning on the main switch, the LED display will illuminate.
  • To start the walking pad, press the 'Start' button on the remote control.
  • To stop the walking pad, press the 'Stop' button on the remote control.
  • For complete power off, turn off the main power switch on the unit and unplug it from the wall outlet.

4.2 Speed Control

The walking pad offers a speed range from 0.6 to 6.2 mph (1 to 10 km/h).

  • Use the '+' button on the remote control to increase speed.
  • Use the '-' button on the remote control to decrease speed.
  • Working Mode: 0.6 - 1.5 mph (suitable for light activity while working).
  • Walking Mode: 0.6 - 2.5 mph (for general walking exercise).
  • Running Mode: 2.5 - 6.2 mph (for jogging or light running).

4.3 Incline Adjustment

The TOPUTURE Walking Pad features a manual incline adjustment up to 9%. This allows for varied workout intensity.

  1. To adjust the incline, ensure the walking pad is powered off and unplugged.
  2. Locate the incline adjustment mechanism, typically at the rear of the unit.
  3. Manually lift or lower the rear of the walking pad to select the desired incline level. Refer to Figure 2.2 for visual guidance.
  4. Ensure the incline mechanism is securely locked in place before resuming operation.

4.4 LED Display and Remote Control

The integrated LED display provides real-time feedback on your workout. The remote control allows for convenient adjustment of settings.

  • LED Display: Shows current speed, distance covered, exercise time, and estimated calories burned.
  • Remote Control: Use to start/stop the walking pad and adjust speed. The remote is magnetic for convenient storage in its designated compartment.

4.5 Smart App Integration

Connect your walking pad to the dedicated Sport APP for enhanced fitness tracking and interactive features.

  1. Download the 'Sport APP' from your device's app store.
  2. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your walking pad via Bluetooth.
  3. The app provides personalized exercise data, allows for remote control, and may offer group running features.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your TOPUTURE Walking Pad.

5.1 Lubrication

Proper lubrication of the running belt is crucial for smooth operation and to prevent wear. It is recommended to lubricate the belt before the first use and every 30-50 hours of operation, or as needed.

  1. Turn off the walking pad and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Gently lift the edge of the running belt on one side.
  3. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant (specifically designed for treadmills) in a thin line along the center of the deck, underneath the belt.
  4. Repeat on the other side.
  5. Plug in the walking pad and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1 mph) for 2-3 minutes to distribute the lubricant evenly.

Note: The walking pad may not come pre-lubricated. Always check and lubricate before initial use.

5.2 Running Belt Adjustment

If the running belt shifts to one side or feels loose, it may require adjustment.

  1. Turn off the walking pad and unplug it.
  2. Locate the adjustment bolts at the rear of the walking pad, on either side of the belt.
  3. If the belt shifts to the left: Turn the right adjustment bolt clockwise by a quarter turn using the provided Allen key.
  4. If the belt shifts to the right: Turn the left adjustment bolt clockwise by a quarter turn.
  5. Plug in the walking pad and run it at a low speed for 1-2 minutes. Observe the belt's alignment.
  6. Repeat adjustments in small increments until the belt is centered. Avoid over-tightening.

5.3 Cleaning

  • Regularly wipe down the walking pad's surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the area around the motor housing free of dust and debris to ensure proper ventilation.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your walking pad.
