Product Overview

The Montech Sky Two GX is a high-performance E-ATX mid-tower case designed for optimal airflow and hardware compatibility. It features a metal mesh front panel, tempered glass side panel, and comes with three pre-installed 140mm PWM ARGB fans.

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper setup and installation of your PC components within the Montech Sky Two GX case.

1. Unboxing and Preparation

Carefully remove the case from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Place the case on a stable, flat surface. Remove the tempered glass side panel by gently swinging it open (it's hinged) and lifting it off the hinges if necessary for easier access.

2. Motherboard Installation

The Sky Two GX supports E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. Install the necessary standoffs for your motherboard size. Carefully place your motherboard into the case, aligning it with the standoffs, and secure it with screws.

3. Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

Install your PSU into the dedicated PSU shroud area at the bottom of the case. Ensure proper orientation for airflow. The case supports PSUs up to 210mm in length.

4. Storage Drive Installation

The case provides mounting points for 2.5-inch SSDs and 3.5-inch HDDs. Utilize the drive cages and mounting brackets as needed. The multifunctional side panel supports 2x 2.5-inch SSDs.

5. Graphics Card (GPU) and Expansion Card Installation

Install your graphics card and other PCIe expansion cards into the motherboard's slots. The case supports GPUs up to 400mm in length.

6. Cooling System Installation (Fans & Radiators)

The Sky Two GX comes with three pre-installed 140mm ARGB PWM fans at the front. Additional fans and radiators can be installed at the top, rear, and bottom. The case supports up to 11 fans and radiators up to 360mm at the top and front.

7. Cable Management

Utilize the ample cable management space (25mm) behind the motherboard tray and the included cable ties to route and secure cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

8. Front Panel I/O Connections

Connect the front panel I/O cables (USB 3.0, USB Type-C, audio, power, reset, LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. The case features an all-in-one F-Panel connector for simplified connection.

Operating Instructions

Once your system is assembled, operating the Montech Sky Two GX is straightforward. The case provides easy access to essential functions.

Powering On/Off and Reset

Use the power button located on the top I/O panel to turn your system on or off. A reset button is also available for system restarts. Ensure all internal connections are secure before powering on.

ARGB Fan Control

The pre-installed AX140 ARGB PWM fans are designed for efficient cooling and customizable lighting. Connect the fan's ARGB cables to your motherboard's 3-pin 5V ARGB header and the PWM cables to your motherboard's fan headers. Control fan speed and RGB lighting effects through your motherboard's software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync).

USB and Audio Ports

Utilize the top-mounted USB 3.0, USB Type-C, and audio jacks for convenient peripheral connectivity. Ensure the internal headers are correctly connected to your motherboard for full functionality.

System Not Powering On
