Installation Methods
The hygger Submersible LED Aquarium Light offers multiple installation options thanks to its IP68 waterproof design and strong suction cups.
- Above Water Installation: Attach the light to the top rim or lid of your aquarium using the suction cups. Ensure the light is securely fastened and positioned to provide optimal illumination.
- Submersible Installation: The light can be fully submerged in your aquarium. Use the suction cups to firmly attach the light to the inside glass of the tank, either along the back, side, or even at the bottom, depending on your desired lighting effect.

Connecting the Controller
Connect the light bar to the controller unit, and then connect the controller unit to the power adapter. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on.

Controller Overview
The light is controlled via an inline controller with multiple functions:

- TIMER Button: Sets the lighting duration (4h, 6h, 8h, 10h, 12h).
- 24/7 Button: Activates the natural light cycle mode (sunrise, daytime, sunset, moon).
- On/M Button: Powers the light on/off and cycles through different color modes in DIY mode.
- +/- Buttons: Adjusts brightness levels (10 levels from 10% to 100%).
- SET Button: Used for setting local time and other advanced configurations.
24/7 Natural Light Cycle Mode
This mode simulates a natural day-to-night cycle, providing optimal lighting conditions for your aquatic life. The light will gradually brighten in the morning (sunrise orange light), transition to full white light during the day, slowly dim to sunset orange light, and then switch to a soft night blue light before turning off. This gradual change prevents stress to your fish.

DIY Mode (Custom Settings)
For personalized lighting, use the DIY mode to set specific parameters:
- Setting Time: Press the TIMER key to select from 4h, 6h, 8h, 10h, or 12h duration.
- Adjusting Brightness: Use the +/- keys to select one of 10 brightness levels (from 10% to 100%).
- Changing Color: Press the M key to cycle through 9 distinct colors: White, Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, Orange, Cyan, and a continuous Cycle Color mode.
