Operating Instructions

The Moongiantgo Automatic Watering System allows for easy scheduling of watering times and intervals. The dual pump system enables two independent watering schedules (A and B) for different plant needs.

Setting Watering Schedules

Use the buttons on the main unit to set your desired watering parameters:

  • ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the system on or off.
  • SET Button: Press to enter setting mode. Use this to cycle through watering duration and interval settings for both Pump A and Pump B.
  • '+' and '-' Buttons: Use these buttons to adjust the values (seconds, minutes, hours, days) for watering duration and interval.
  • MA Button: Manual watering. Press to initiate immediate watering.
  • MB Button: Manual watering. Press to initiate immediate watering.

Watering Duration: Can be set from 1 second to 59 minutes (for seconds) or 1 to 99 minutes (for minutes). This determines how long the pump will run during each watering cycle.

Watering Interval: Can be set from 1 hour to 23 hours (for hours) or 1 to 9 days (for days). This determines the frequency of watering cycles.

The dual pump system allows you to set two distinct schedules. For example, Pump A can water delicate plants for a short duration every day, while Pump B can water succulents for a longer duration every few days.

  • Water Source: Ensure the water reservoir is clean and free of debris to prevent contamination of the system.
  • Battery Check: If using batteries, check their charge regularly and replace them when low to avoid interruption of watering schedules.
  • Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, drain all water, clean components, and store in a dry, cool place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your watering system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution

Inconsistent water flowPartially clogged filter or nozzle, low water level, air in tubes.Clean filters and nozzles. Ensure sufficient water in reservoir. Prime the system by running manual watering to remove air.
System not turning onNo power, dead batteries, loose USB connection.Check USB connection. Replace batteries. Ensure ON/OFF button is pressed.
Watering schedule not activatingIncorrect settings, system turned off.Verify watering duration and interval settings. Ensure the system is turned ON.
Water pressure is weakPump limitation, too many drip nozzles, main unit placed too high above water source. The pump has a specific pressure rating. For optimal performance, ensure the main unit is not significantly higher than the water source. Consider reducing the number of active drip nozzles if flow is too low for all.
