2. Safety Information
Observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the camera or injury to yourself or others:
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the camera.
- Keep the camera away from extreme temperatures, open flames, and strong magnetic fields.

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the Insta360 X4 battery. The camera features an improved 2290mAh battery, offering up to 135 minutes of recording time in 5.7K30fps mode.
- Insert the battery into the camera or the Fast Charge Hub.
- Connect the camera or Fast Charge Hub to a power source using the provided USB-C cable.
- The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

3.2 Inserting the MicroSD Card
The Insta360 X4 requires a MicroSD card for storing footage. A 256GB MicroSD card is included in this bundle.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the card gently until it springs out.
3.3 Attaching Lens Guards
The Insta360 X4 comes with Standard Lens Guards for protection. These are designed for easy application and removal.
- Align the Standard Lens Guards with the camera lenses.
- Gently press them onto the lenses until they are securely attached.
- For water sports or heavy rain, it is recommended to remove the lens guards to ensure optimal image quality.

- To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates.
- To power off, press and hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then confirm.

- Select Mode: Swipe on the touchscreen to choose between 360 Video, 4K Wide-Angle, Photo, and other modes.
