2. Safety Information

WARNING: Operating this generator produces carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Always use the generator outdoors, far away from occupied buildings, with the engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings. Never allow engine exhaust fumes to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents, or other openings.

This product is equipped with CO Shield® technology, which monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO). If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it will automatically shut off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. Always follow all safety guidelines.

4. Setup

Before first use, ensure the generator is placed on a level surface outdoors, far from any windows or doors. The following items are included to assist with initial setup:

Initial Steps:

  1. Attach Wheels and Handle: Assemble the wheel kit and handle according to the detailed instructions in the full manual.
  2. Add Engine Oil: Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick and add the recommended 10W-30 engine oil using the provided funnel. The unit has a 1.2-quart oil capacity. Do not overfill.
  3. Add Fuel: Fill the 6.1-gallon fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.
  4. Connect Battery: Connect the battery terminals as instructed in the full manual to enable electric start and remote start functions.

Starting the Generator

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface outdoors, away from any structures.

Stopping the Generator
