1. Introduction

The ChunHee HI03-IM Wireless Intercom System provides reliable two-way communication without the need for Wi-Fi or internet connectivity. Designed for various environments, including homes, offices, and caregiving settings, this system offers 16 channels and adjustable volume levels for clear and efficient communication. Controls and Ports:

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge both intercom units. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the unit's Type-C port or place the unit in its charging holder connected to a power source. The charging indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Powering On/Off

1. To turn on: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible confirmation.
2. To turn off: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit powers down.

4.3 Setting Channels

For two or more units to communicate, they must be set to the same channel. The system offers 16 channels (1-16).

1. With the unit powered on, use the Channel Increase or Channel Decrease buttons on the side to select your desired channel. The unit will audibly announce the selected channel number.
2. Repeat this process for all intercom units you wish to link, ensuring they are all on the identical channel.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Two-Way Communication

1. To speak: Press and hold the large TALK Button on the front of the unit. Speak clearly into the unit.
2. To listen: Release the TALK Button. The unit will automatically switch to receive mode.

5.2 Channel Lock Feature

To prevent accidental channel changes, especially when used by children or the elderly, you can lock the current channel.

• To lock: Press and hold the Channel Lock/Unlock Button (often labeled 'SET' or similar, located on the side) for 5 seconds. An audible confirmation will indicate the channel is locked.
• To unlock: Repeat the process by pressing and holding the Channel Lock/Unlock Button for 5 seconds.

5.3 Volume Adjustment

The intercom system features 4 adjustable volume levels to suit different environments and user preferences (60dB, 80dB, 100dB, 115dB).

• Press the Volume Adjust Button (located on the side) repeatedly to cycle through the available volume settings. Select the level that provides optimal clarity without being excessively loud.

6. Charging

The ChunHee HI03-IM intercom units are equipped with Lithium Polymer batteries and can be charged via the USB Type-C port or by placing them in their dedicated charging holders.

• Connect the provided USB-C cable to the intercom unit or the charging holder, and then to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
• A full charge provides up to 36 hours of single-use operation and up to 4 days of standby time.
