4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your BDFFLY Wireless HDMI Kit:

  1. Step 1: Connect the Receiver (RX)
Plug the Receiver (RX) unit into an available HDMI port on your monitor, TV, or projector. Connect the integrated USB power cable from the RX unit to a 5V/1A USB power source (e.g., a USB port on your display or a USB wall adapter).
  2. Step 2: Connect the Transmitter (TX)
Plug the Transmitter (TX) unit into the HDMI video output port of your source device (e.g., laptop, PC, camera, cable TV box). Connect the integrated USB power cable from the TX unit to a 5V/1A USB power source (e.g., a USB port on your source device or a USB wall adapter).
  3. Step 3: Automatic Connection
After connecting both units, wait approximately 2-10 seconds for the devices to automatically pair and establish a connection. Do not press any buttons during this process.
  4. Step 4: Enjoy Your Video
Once the connection is complete, your source device's display will be mirrored or extended to your connected display.

5. Operating Instructions

The BDFFLY Wireless HDMI Kit is designed for straightforward operation:

  • Screen Mirroring: By default, the system will mirror your source device's display to the connected monitor, TV, or projector.
  • Extended Display: Most operating systems (Windows, macOS) allow you to configure an extended display. Access your display settings on your source device to switch between mirroring and extending your screen.
  • Switching Multiple Transmitters (TX): If you have multiple TX units paired with one RX unit (up to 5 TXs), you can switch between the active source devices by pressing the function button on the desired TX unit for approximately 5 seconds. The RX unit will then connect to the newly selected TX.

  • Storage: When not in use, store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Handle the units and cables with care. Avoid bending the cables sharply or applying excessive force to the connectors.
  • Power: Always use a stable 5V/1A power source for both the transmitter and receiver units.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your BDFFLY Wireless HDMI Kit, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Signal on Display:
        - Ensure both the TX and RX units are properly powered (5V/1A).
        - Verify that the HDMI cables and adapters are securely connected.
        - Check that your display is set to the correct HDMI input source.
        - Unplug and replug both TX and RX units, then wait for automatic re-pairing.
  • Video/Audio Lag or Interruption:
        - Reduce the distance between the TX and RX units.
        - Remove any physical obstacles (walls, large furniture) between the units that might interfere with the signal.
        - Ensure there are no strong 2.4GHz or 5GHz wireless interference sources nearby.
  • No Audio:
        - Confirm that the audio output on your source device is enabled and not muted.
        - Check the audio settings on your display device.
  • Units Getting Warm:
        - It is normal for the units to generate some heat during operation. Ensure they are placed in a well-ventilated area and not covered.
