Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your air conditioner.
1. Air Filter Cleaning
The unit features an easy-to-clean washable and reusable filter. A dirty filter can reduce cooling efficiency and airflow.
- Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter (refer to the diagram in the Product Overview section for location).
- Wash the filter under running water (warm, soapy water if very dirty).
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling it. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
- Reinstall the dry filter into the unit.
2. Water Drainage
During dehumidification or cooling in high humidity, water will accumulate inside the unit. The unit has an internal self-evaporation system, but in very humid conditions, the water tank may fill up. If the tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (refer to Troubleshooting). Drain the water by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the unit and allowing water to flow into a suitable container.
3. Storage
If the unit will not be used for an extended period:
- Drain any accumulated water completely.
- Clean the air filter.
- Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
