1. Safety Information
Read this manual thoroughly before operating the Anbull GX-E-5K1 PCP Air Compressor. Failure to follow instructions may result in injury or equipment damage. This compressor is designed for filling PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic) air tanks. Do not use for purposes other than its intended design.
- Always operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area.
- Ensure the power supply matches the compressor's requirements (110V).
- Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of 5800 psi (40 MPa) for the compressor or the tank being filled.
- Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the operating compressor.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection.
- Do not touch hot surfaces during or immediately after operation.
- Ensure the water cooling system is properly filled and functioning before starting the compressor to prevent damage.
- If filling tanks over 5000 psi for scuba use, an additional burst disc is required, and the unit is not certified for scuba use without proper certification.
2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the compressor from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
2.2 Coolant System Preparation
The water tank is drained for transport. Before initial operation, it is critical to add coolant. Use full automotive coolant.
- Open the water tank cap.
- Add coolant until the tank is full.
- Turn on the power switch (do not press the start button yet). The water pump will activate, circulating coolant through the internal pipes.
- Continue adding coolant as the level drops until the water tank remains full, indicating the system is primed.

Warning: Operating the compressor without a full and circulating coolant system will cause severe damage to the unit.
2.3 Grease Injection System (Initial Use)
The grease tank is pre-filled at the factory. For the first 6 hours of use, do not turn the grease injection knob. Turning it prematurely can introduce excessive grease into the machine, leading to poor air quality and potential operational issues. After approximately 6 hours of cumulative use, you may turn the knob 2/3 to 1 full turn to inject grease.

2.4 Connecting to Air Tank
Connect the air output hose from the compressor to your PCP air tank or airgun. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks. The compressor is equipped with a moisture filter to ensure clean, dry air.

3. Operation
3.1 Setting Auto-Stop Pressure
The compressor features an automatic shut-off function. Use the twin indicator arms on the shock-resistant pressure gauge to set your desired maximum pressure. When this pressure is reached, the compressor will automatically stop.

3.2 Starting the Compressor
After ensuring all connections are secure and the coolant system is ready:
- Set the desired auto-stop pressure on the gauge.
- Ensure the bleed valve is closed.
- Press the "Start" button. The compressor will begin filling the connected tank.
The GX-E-5K1 utilizes a 1-piston, 4-stage compression system for efficient filling. Typical filling speeds are:
- 6.8L PCP tank: Approximately 90 minutes from 0 to 4500 psi.
- 0.5L tank: Approximately 3.5 minutes from 1000 to 4500 psi.
- 0.5L tank: Approximately 2.6 minutes from 1000 to 3000 psi.
- 1L tank: Approximately 8 minutes from 1000 to 4500 psi.
- 1L tank: Approximately 5 minutes from 1000 to 3000 psi.
The compressor is designed for continuous operation for up to 10 hours, thanks to its robust water and fan cooling system.
3.3 Post-Filling Procedure
Once the compressor automatically stops or you manually turn it off:
- Slowly open the bleed valve to release pressure from the hose. The compressor will automatically bleed off moisture during this process.
- Disconnect the air tank.
- Allow the cooling fan to run for a few minutes after each fill to dissipate residual heat.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Grease Injection
After the initial 6 hours of use, periodically turn the grease injection knob 2/3 to 1 full turn to lubricate the system. If the factory-supplied grease is depleted, use Food Grade E.P. Grease for replenishment.
4.2 Coolant System Check
Regularly check the coolant level using the remaining water indicator. Replenish coolant as needed to ensure efficient cooling and prevent overheating.
4.3 Moisture Filter
The built-in moisture filter helps ensure clean, dry air. Periodically inspect and maintain the filter according to the manufacturer's guidelines to prevent moisture buildup and ensure optimal performance.

5. Troubleshooting
