Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your Luxor Solar Post Cap Lights:

  1. Select Mounting Location: Choose a location for your solar lights that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. This is crucial for optimal battery charging and light performance.
  2. Choose Appropriate Mount: The Luxor lights come with three mounting options:
    • 4x4 Inch Post Mount: For standard 4x4 inch wooden or vinyl posts.
    • 5x5 Inch Post Mount: For standard 5x5 inch wooden or vinyl posts.
    • Flat Mount: For mounting on any flat surface, such as a deck railing or wall.

  3. Activate the Light: Before installation, locate the Hi/Off/Low switch on the underside of the light unit. Set the switch to either "Hi" for maximum brightness or "Low" for extended illumination duration. Ensure it is not in the "Off" position.
