4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your SANODESK office chair.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters (F) into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base (E). Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder (D) into the center hole of the assembled star base (E).
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate (G) with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion (B). Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws from the hardware pack (I).
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests (C) to the sides of the seat cushion (B) using the provided screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).
5. Attach Backrest to Seat: Connect the backrest assembly (A) to the seat cushion (B) using the designated screw holes. Secure firmly.
6. Attach Headrest: Insert the headrest (H) into the top of the backrest assembly (A) and secure it.
7. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder (D) that is already inserted into the star base. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

5. Operating Instructions (Adjustments)

Your SANODESK office chair offers several adjustment features for personalized comfort.

• Seat Height Adjustment: Locate the lever on the right side under the seat.
  • To raise the seat: Lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat.
  • To lower the seat: Lift the lever while remaining seated.
• Rocking Function (Tilt Lock/Unlock): The same lever used for height adjustment can also control the rocking function.
  • To unlock tilt: Pull the lever outwards. The chair will now rock freely between 90-120 degrees.
  • To lock tilt: Push the lever inwards. The chair will lock in its upright position.
• Rocking Pressure Adjustment: A round knob is located under the front of the seat mechanism.
  • Turn clockwise to increase tension (requires more force to recline).
  • Turn counter-clockwise to decrease tension (allows easier recline).
• Flip-up Armrests: The armrests can be flipped up to save space or allow the chair to be pushed closer to a desk. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position. To lower, pull them down.
• 3D Adjustable Lumbar Support: The lumbar support can be adjusted for height and depth to fit your back curve. Gently push or pull the lumbar support to adjust its position.
• Adjustable Headrest: The headrest can be adjusted for height and angle to provide optimal neck and head support.
