4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning Your Watch
To keep your watch looking its best, wipe the case and strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2 Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (WR50M). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming in shallow water, and general water splashes. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Avoid pressing buttons underwater to prevent water ingress.

4.3 Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Blank or Dim Display: This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the battery as described in Section 4.3.
- Incorrect Time/Date: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in Section 2.1. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have a lock function). A low battery can also affect button responsiveness. Try replacing the battery.
- Alarm Not Sounding: Check that the alarm is enabled (alarm icon visible on display) and that the volume is not muted (if applicable).
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, please contact Timex customer support.
