Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your HelloBaby HB6560 Baby Monitor:

1. Charge the Parent Unit: Before first use, fully charge the parent unit for approximately 7-8 hours. Connect the AC adapter to the parent unit and a power outlet. The battery indicator will show charging status.
2. Position the Camera Unit: Place the camera unit in your baby's room on a flat surface or mount it to a wall using the provided screws. Ensure it has a clear view of the crib or play area. Keep the camera at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby to avoid potential hazards.
3. Connect Camera Power: Plug the camera's AC adapter into the camera unit and then into a power outlet. The camera will automatically power on.
4. Power On Parent Unit: Press and hold the power button on the parent unit until the screen turns on. The parent unit and camera unit are pre-paired at the factory for immediate use.
5. Adjust View: Use the controls on the parent unit to remotely pan, tilt, and zoom the camera to get the desired view of your baby.

Operating Instructions

Parent Unit Controls

The parent unit features intuitive buttons for easy operation:

• Power Button: Press and hold to turn the unit on/off. Press briefly to turn the screen on/off while audio continues.
• Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Used to navigate menus and control camera pan/tilt.
• OK Button: Confirms selections in menus.
• Menu Button: Accesses the main menu for settings.
• Talk Button: Press and hold to speak through the camera unit. Release to hear your baby.
• Volume/Brightness Button: Press to adjust volume or brightness. Use navigation buttons to change levels.
• Zoom Button: Toggles 2x digital zoom.

Remote Pan, Tilt, and Zoom

From the parent unit, use the navigation buttons to control the camera's movement:

• Press the Up/Down buttons to tilt the camera vertically.
• Press the Left/Right buttons to pan the camera horizontally.
• Press the Zoom button to activate 2x digital zoom. Use navigation buttons to move the zoomed image.

Two-Way Talk

To speak to your baby through the camera unit:

• Press and hold the Talk button on the parent unit.
• Speak clearly into the microphone on the parent unit.
• Release the Talk button to hear your baby's sounds again.

ECO Mode (VOX)

ECO mode conserves battery by turning off the screen when no sound is detected. The screen will automatically turn on when sound is detected above a set threshold.

• Access the menu and navigate to the ECO/VOX settings.
• Select one of the 3 sensitivity levels (Low, Medium, High) or turn the function off.
• A higher sensitivity level means the screen will activate with softer sounds.

Lullabies

To play lullabies to your baby:

• Access the menu and navigate to the Lullaby option.
• Select from the available lullabies to play. You can also set a timer for how long the lullaby plays.

Maintenance
