3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your robotic lawn mower. Follow these steps carefully.

3.1 Preparing the Lawn

Before installation, clear the lawn of any debris, stones, or objects that could interfere with the mower's operation. Identify the areas to be mowed.

3.2 Installing the Charging Station

  1. Choose a suitable location for the charging station, preferably in a sheltered area.
  2. Ensure there is at least 1 meter of clear space on both sides of the charging station and 2 meters in front of it.
  3. Secure the charging station to the ground using the provided pegs.
  4. Connect the charging station to a power outlet.

3.3 Laying the Boundary Wire and RFID Beacons

The boundary wire defines the mowing area. The RFID beacons assist with navigation and multi-zone management.

  • Lay the boundary wire around the perimeter of your lawn, ensuring it is taut and securely fastened to the ground.
  • Place RFID beacons at regular intervals (e.g., every 10 meters) along the boundary wire, especially in complex areas or between zones.
  • Ensure the wire is connected to the charging station as per the instructions.

4. Operating the Robotic Lawn Mower

The DCK KDRM105 offers intelligent operation through its mobile application and advanced navigation features.

4.1 Initial Mapping and Learning

After installation, place the robot on the charging station. Upon activation, the mower will perform automatic checks and create an autonomous map of the mowing area using the RFID tags.

Download the "Terraina" app from your mobile app store. Connect the mower via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for optimal signal reception.

4.3 Mowing Operation

5. Maintenance
