1. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the water flosser. The 1800 mAh battery provides up to 40 days of use on the lowest mode after a full charge.

• Locate the Type-C charging port on the device, usually covered by a protective flap.
• Open the flap and connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V 1A power adapter, computer, power bank, or car adapter.
• The OLED display will indicate the battery charging status.

4.2 Attaching a Jet Tip

• Select the desired jet tip for your oral care needs.
• Insert the tip into the opening at the top of the flosser unit until it clicks securely into place.
• To remove a tip, press the release button located on the back of the flosser unit and pull the tip out.

• Twist the bottom part of the flosser unit to detach the water tank.

5. Operating Modes and Pressure Settings

The MySmile LP221 offers 4 cleaning modes and 3 pressure levels (excluding pulse mode), allowing for 10 customizable water flossing patterns.

• Soft Mode (40-80 PSI): Ideal for sensitive teeth, new users, and children above 8 years old.
• Normal Mode (80-120 PSI): Suitable for daily cleaning for most users.
• Strong Mode (120-150 PSI): Designed for deep cleaning and removing hard-to-reach stains.
• Pulse Mode (40-120 PSI): Provides gum massage and is beneficial for individuals with mild periodontitis.

6. Usage Instructions

Follow these steps for effective water flossing:

1. Fill the 335 ml water tank with warm water.
2. Attach the desired tip to the top of the unit.
3. Press the power button to turn on the device.
4. Adjust the mode and pressure to your preference using the 'M', '+', and '-' buttons.
5. Lean over the sink and place the tip between your teeth, directing the water flow at a 90-degree angle to your gum line.
6. Move the tip along your gum line and between your teeth, pausing briefly between each tooth.
7. When finished, turn off the device and remove the tip for cleaning and storage.

7. UVC Sterilization

The MySmile LP221 incorporates a UVC sterilizer to ensure hygienic oral care.

• The UVC light sanitizer provides a 120-second sterilization process.
• This process eradicates up to 99.99% of bacteria, ensuring the water tank and jet tips are unpolluted for your next use.
• To activate UVC sterilization, hold the 'M' button down when the device is off, then press the '+' button. The device will run a 120-second UVC cycle.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning

• The device is IPX7 waterproof, allowing for safe use in the shower.
• After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
• Clean the jet tips and the reservoir regularly. The UVC sterilization feature can be used for this purpose.
• A filter designed at the end of the gravity-ball sucker helps prevent clogging and reduces machine damage. Ensure this filter is kept clean.
