1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read and save these instructions before operating your CHIVALZ humidifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and appliances.
- Do not immerse the humidifier base in water or other liquids.
- Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
- Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank; use the designated aromatherapy tray.
- Do not block air vents.

2.2 Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the main parts of your humidifier:

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials from the humidifier and its components. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
3.2 Placement
Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices. Do not place it on carpet or near heat sources.
3.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Remove the water tank from the base.
- Turn the water tank upside down and unscrew the tank cap.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not fill past the MAX line.
- Securely screw the tank cap back on.
- Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Mist Output Adjustment
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the control knob clockwise to power on the humidifier. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Continue turning the knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the mist output.
- To turn off the humidifier, turn the control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.

4.2 Aromatherapy Function
Your CHIVALZ humidifier includes an aromatherapy tray for essential oils.
- Locate the aromatherapy tray on the side of the humidifier base.
- Pull out the tray.
- Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad (if included) or directly into the tray.
- Slide the tray back into the humidifier.
- The aroma will diffuse with the mist.

4.3 Adjustable Nozzle
The mist nozzle can be rotated 360 degrees to direct the mist flow in any desired direction.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.
5.1 Daily Maintenance
- Unplug the humidifier.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
- Rinse the tank and base with fresh water.
- Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean cloth.
5.2 Weekly Cleaning and Descaling
- Unplug the humidifier and empty all water.
- Fill the water tank with 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Pour the solution out and use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank and the nebulizer/transducer in the base.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
- Wipe all surfaces dry.
5.3 Storage
When not in use for an extended period, clean the humidifier as described above, ensure all parts are completely dry, and store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
