1. Introduction

4. Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the glass kettle and lid with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the power base with a damp cloth.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, stable, and level surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
4. First Boil (Dechlorination): Fill the kettle with water to the MAX line. Place it on the power base and plug in the unit. Press the 'Dechlor' button to initiate the dechlorination process. This will boil the water and then cool it down. Discard this water. Repeat this process 1-2 times to ensure the kettle is clean and free of any manufacturing residues.

5.1. Temperature Control Presets

The Comfyer kettle offers 6 precise temperature presets for various needs:

• Formula (104°F / 40°C): Ideal for baby formula.
• Heat (122°F / 50°C): Suitable for warming food.
• Food (140°F / 60°C): Another option for warming food.
• WHO (158°F / 70°C): World Health Organization recommended temperature for certain uses.
• Tea (176°F / 80°C): Perfect for green tea and other delicate teas.
• Coffee (194°F / 90°C): Optimal for brewing coffee.
• Boiling (212°F / 100°C): For boiling water.

To select a preset, press the corresponding button on the control panel. The display will show the current and target temperatures.

5.2. Boil Function

The kettle can rapidly boil water up to 212°F (100°C). This function is useful for sterilizing water or preparing hot beverages that require boiling water. Simply fill the kettle with water and select the boiling temperature preset.

5.3. Night Light

The built-in night light provides illumination for convenient use during nighttime feedings or in low-light conditions. The light automatically turns on when the kettle is lifted from the base, helping to prevent spills and make operations easier in the dark.
