Setup Guide

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the remote control and receiver collars. Use the provided 3-in-1 USB charging cable. The indicator lights will show charging status.

Video 2: Demonstrates how to charge the Jugbow Dog Shock Collar remote and receiver collars using the included USB cable. Ensure all devices are fully charged before initial use.

2. Pairing the Second Collar (if applicable)

The collars are typically pre-paired from the factory. If you need to pair a second collar or re-pair a collar, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the second receiver collar is turned off.
  2. Long-press the RX power button on the receiver until it enters pairing mode (the status light will rapidly blink).
  3. On the remote, select the desired channel (e.g., Channel 2 for the second collar) using the channel key.
  4. Press any function key (Beep, Vibration, or Shock) on the remote for pairing. The receiver's status light will stop blinking once pairing is successful.

Video 3: Step-by-step guide on how to pair the second receiver collar with the Jugbow remote control. This process ensures both collars respond to the same remote.

3. Attaching the Collar and Contact Points

Select the appropriate metal prongs (short for short-haired dogs, long for long-haired dogs) and attach them to the receiver. For added comfort and to prevent skin irritation, place the silicone caps over the prongs. Ensure the collar is snug but not too tight, allowing two fingers to fit comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck.

Important: It cannot be worn continuously for more than 12 hours without removing the metal prongs.

Operating Instructions

1. Turning On/Off the Remote and Receiver

  • Remote: Slide the security ON/OFF switch on the side to unlock/lock the remote.
  • Receiver: Press and hold the power button on the receiver until the green light flashes to turn on. Long press again to turn off.

2. Selecting Channels

Use the 'CH' button on the remote to switch between Channel 1 and Channel 2, corresponding to your two receiver collars. The remote's display will indicate the active channel.

3. Adjusting Training Levels

To adjust the intensity level for Beep, Vibration, or Shock modes:

  1. Press the top button on the remote to cycle through Beep, Vibration, and Shock modes.
  2. Once the desired mode is selected, rotate the knob at the top of the remote to easily adjust the level (1-8 for Beep, 1-16 for Vibration, 1-99 for Shock).

4. Using Training Modes

Once the desired mode and level are set, press the corresponding button on the remote to activate the correction:

  • Beep Button: Emits an audible tone.
  • Vibration Button: Activates vibration on the collar.
  • Shock Button: Delivers static stimulation.
  • Shock Boost Button: Delivers a 10% higher static stimulation.

Safety Guidelines

  • Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 hours per day to prevent skin irritation.
  • Regularly check your dog's neck for any signs of irritation or sores. If found, discontinue use until the skin heals.
  • Ensure the contact points are clean and free of debris.
  • Always start with the lowest correction level and gradually increase if necessary. The goal is to get your dog's attention, not to punish them.
  • This device is intended for training purposes only and should not be used as a punishment tool.
  • Keep the remote control out of reach of children.
  • Do not use this collar on aggressive dogs. Consult a professional trainer for behavioral issues.

Maintenance

  • Clean the collar and receiver with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Regularly inspect the collar strap and contact points for wear and tear.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Charge the remote and collar as needed to maintain optimal battery life.
