The Vente-unique Seroto Door Block is designed for tunnel (or tableau) installation and is reversible for left or right-hand opening. Professional installation is recommended due to the weight and nature of the materials.

5.1. Pre-Installation Checks

1. Inspect Components: Unpack all items and check for any damage or missing parts against the package contents list.
2. Verify Opening Dimensions: Ensure your door opening dimensions are compatible with the door block and frame. The door frame measures 207.5 cm (Height) x 78.4 cm (Length) x 7.4 cm (Depth). The door itself measures 204 cm (Height) x 73 cm (Length) x 3.5 cm (Depth).
3. Determine Opening Direction: Decide whether you require a left-hand or right-hand push opening before proceeding with frame assembly.

5.2. Frame Assembly and Installation

1. Assemble the door frame components using the provided screws and hardware. Ensure all joints are secure and square.
2. Carefully position the assembled frame into the door opening. Use shims to ensure the frame is plumb, level, and square within the opening.
3. Secure the frame to the wall studs or structural elements using appropriate fasteners. Ensure the frame is firmly anchored and does not flex.

5.3. Door Hanging

1. Attach the hinges to the door frame according to your desired opening direction (left or right push).
2. With assistance, carefully lift the door block and align the hinge pins with the hinge leaves on the frame. Insert the pins to secure the door.
3. Test the door's swing to ensure it opens and closes smoothly without binding. Adjust hinges if necessary.

5.4. Handle Installation

1. Install the door handle set according to the manufacturer's instructions included with the handle hardware.
2. Ensure the handle operates smoothly and the latch engages correctly with the strike plate on the door frame.

6. Operation

The Seroto Door Block operates manually. To open the door, depress the handle and pull or push the door in the desired direction. The door is designed to open up to a maximum angle of 90 degrees. Ensure no objects obstruct the door's path when opening or closing to prevent damage to the door or surrounding structures.

Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your door block:
