Safety Guidelines
- Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear when riding.
- Familiarize yourself with local traffic laws and regulations for electric bicycles.
- Perform a pre-ride inspection before each use, checking brakes, tires, and battery level.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Avoid riding in extreme weather conditions or on excessively rough terrain unless the bike is designed for it.
Setup and Assembly
Your Eleglide C1/C1 ST bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial setup:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging in case of return or warranty claims.
- Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebar to the stem. Ensure it is centered and tightened securely. The adjustable stem allows for comfortable posture.
- Front Wheel Installation: Install the front wheel, ensuring the hydraulic disc brake caliper aligns correctly with the rotor. Secure the quick-release skewer or axle nuts.
- Pedal Installation: Identify left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread them into the crank arms. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread. Tighten firmly.
- Seat Post and Saddle: Insert the seat post with the saddle into the frame. Adjust the height for comfortable pedaling, ensuring your leg has a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Secure the quick-release clamp.
- Battery Installation and Charging: Insert the removable battery into its compartment. Fully charge the battery before first use. The battery can be charged on or off the bike.
- Tire Inflation: Inflate tires to the recommended pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display.
- To power off, press and hold the power button again.
LCD Display and Pedal Assist Levels
The intelligent LCD display provides real-time speed, distance, battery level, and allows you to switch between 5 pedal assist levels (PAS) and activate walk mode.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to cycle through the 5 pedal assist levels (12, 15, 18, 21, and 25 km/h).
- To activate 6 km/h walk mode, refer to the specific instructions in the full manual (usually by holding the '-' button).
Gear Shifting
Your bike is equipped with a 7-speed derailleur system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears according to terrain and desired speed. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.
Braking
The hydraulic disc brakes offer superior stopping power. Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective and controlled stopping. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially with the front brake only.
Hydraulic Suspension
The hydraulic suspension fork provides a smoother ride. It features a lockout function, allowing you to lock the suspension for efficient riding on flat roads and unlock it for comfort on bumpy paths.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your e-bike.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health.
- Avoid completely draining the battery.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain recommended PSI for optimal performance and safety. Inspect tires for wear and damage.
- Brakes: Regularly check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers provide firm and responsive braking. Adjust or replace as needed.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent premature wear.
- General Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on critical components like handlebars, wheels, and seat post.
Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bike does not power on. | Battery not charged, battery not properly seated, loose electrical connection. | Charge battery, ensure battery is fully inserted, check connections. |
| Motor not assisting. | Pedal assist level too low, battery low, sensor issue. | Increase PAS level, charge battery, check for error codes on LCD. |
| Brakes feel spongy or weak. | Air in hydraulic lines, worn brake pads. | Bleed brake system (professional service recommended), replace brake pads. |
| Gears are not shifting smoothly. | Derailleur misalignment, dirty chain, stretched cable. | Adjust derailleur, clean and lubricate chain, replace cable if necessary. |
