Operating Instructions
Your VIANIS Motion Sensor Outdoor Wall Light features an upgraded motion sensor with four distinct working modes and adjustable settings.
Mode Selection (One-Key Switch)
Press the sensor button located on the top of the fixture to cycle through the modes. An indicator light will show the current mode:
- Red Light: DIM Mode - Stays at 30% brightness at night, illuminates to 100% brightness when motion is detected, then returns to 30% after motion ceases.
- Green Light: ECO Mode - Remains off at night, turns on to 100% brightness when motion is detected, then turns off after motion ceases.
- Blue Light: D2D Mode (Dusk to Dawn) - Stays at 100% brightness from dusk until dawn, regardless of motion.
- Indicator Light OFF: Override Mode - Keeps the light at 100% brightness all night (for 8 hours) and turns off at dawn. To activate, turn the light switch OFF and ON within 2 seconds.

Adjustable Settings
The sensor allows for customization of sensitivity, brightness, and lighting duration.
- Sensitivity Adjustment (SENS knob): Rotate the "SENS" knob to increase or decrease the motion detection range (up to 40 feet max).
- Lighting Duration Adjustment (TIME knob): Rotate the "TIME" knob to set how long the light stays on after motion is detected (from 20 seconds to 5 minutes). Point to "ON" for continuous light.
- Brightness Adjustment (Built-in Dimmer): In DIM mode standby, long-press the sensor button to adjust the brightness between 15% and 50%. This feature is compatible with dimmable bulbs only.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: Due to the open bottom design, bulb replacement is tool-free. Simply unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E26 base bulb.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power, faulty bulb, incorrect wiring. | Check circuit breaker. Replace bulb. Verify wiring connections. |
| Motion sensor not detecting. | Sensitivity too low, obstruction, incorrect mode. | Adjust SENS knob. Clear obstructions. Ensure correct mode is selected. |
| Light stays on constantly. | Override mode active, continuous motion, TIME knob set to "ON". | Deactivate override mode (toggle switch). Check for constant motion. Adjust TIME knob. |
| Light flickers. | Incompatible bulb, loose connection. | Use recommended dimmable LED (6-8W) or incandescent (below 100W) bulbs. Check wiring. |
