5.3 Smart Timer and QuadPacer

The built-in 2-minute smart timer ensures you brush for the dentist-recommended duration. The 30-second interval pauses (QuadPacer) remind you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth for an even clean.

  1. Divide your mouth into four quadrants: upper right, upper left, lower right, and lower left.
  2. Start brushing in one quadrant.
  3. After 30 seconds, the toothbrush will briefly pause, signaling you to move to the next quadrant.
  4. Continue this process until the 2-minute timer completes, and the toothbrush automatically turns off.

5.4 Brushing Technique

For optimal results, follow these brushing guidelines:

  • Wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
  • Place the brush head against your teeth at a slight angle (approximately 45 degrees) towards the gum line.
  • Turn on the toothbrush.
  • Gently move the brush head slowly across each tooth, allowing the sonic vibrations to do the cleaning. Do not scrub vigorously.
  • Brush all surfaces of your teeth: outer, inner, and chewing surfaces.
  • Follow the QuadPacer guidance to ensure all quadrants of your mouth are cleaned evenly.
  • After brushing, rinse your mouth and the brush head thoroughly.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Toothbrush

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your toothbrush.

  • After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water while the toothbrush is briefly turned on to remove any remaining toothpaste or debris.
  • Remove the brush head and rinse the metal shaft area of the handle.
  • Wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure the charging base is kept dry and clean.

6.2 Replacing Brush Heads

Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles appear frayed or worn. The blue indicator bristles on the brush head will fade by 50% to remind you when it's time for a replacement.

  1. Grip the brush head and pull it straight off the handle.
  2. Dispose of the old brush head responsibly.
  3. Align a new brush head with the metal shaft and push it down firmly until it clicks into place.
