This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Hyuduo 2.4G Wireless Barcode Scanner. This device is designed for efficient and accurate barcode scanning in various environments such as grocery stores, distribution centers, restaurants, and small businesses.

1. Setup
1.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:
- 1 x Barcode Scanner
- 1 x Connect Cable (USB)
- 1 x Receiver (2.4G Wireless Dongle)
- 1 x User Manual (this document)
1.2 Connecting the Receiver
To use the scanner wirelessly, plug the 2.4G wireless receiver into an available USB port on your computer or host device. The system should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.

1.3 Charging the Scanner
The scanner comes with a built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. Before initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the scanner. Connect the scanner to a USB power source using the provided connect cable. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the trigger button to power on the scanner. To power off, press and hold the trigger button again until the scanner indicates it is off (e.g., via a specific sound or light pattern).

2.2 Scanning Barcodes
Point the scanning head towards the barcode you wish to scan. Press the trigger button. A red LED light will emit from the scanning head. Position the scanner so the red light covers the entire barcode. A successful scan will be indicated by a buzzer sound and a light indicator.

2.4 Alarms and Indicators
The scanner provides visual (light) and auditory (buzzer) feedback for various operational statuses, including successful scans and low battery warnings.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, keep the scanning window clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution, to gently wipe the scanning window. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the surface.
3.2 Storage
Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
3.3 Battery Care
The built-in lithium battery is designed for long life. To maximize battery health, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently and do not leave it uncharged for prolonged periods.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Scanner Not Responding
- Check Connection: Ensure the 2.4G receiver is securely plugged into a USB port and the scanner is powered on.
- Battery Level: Verify the scanner has sufficient battery charge. Recharge if necessary.
- Re-pair: If the scanner is not connecting, try re-pairing it with the receiver according to the instructions in the full manual (if applicable, usually involves scanning a specific barcode).
4.2 Barcodes Not Scanning
- Barcode Type: Confirm that the barcode type is supported by the scanner (refer to Section 2.3).
- Barcode Quality: Ensure the barcode is clear, undamaged, and not smudged.
- Distance and Angle: Adjust the distance and angle between the scanner and the barcode. The optimal scanning angle is 55 degrees.
- Scanning Window: Clean the scanning window for any obstructions or dirt.
4.3 No Buzzer Sound or Light Indicator
- Settings: Check if the buzzer or indicator lights have been disabled through configuration settings (refer to the full manual for advanced settings).
- Damage: If the issue persists, the unit may be damaged. Contact customer support.
