5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the Cordless Power Drill
- Power On/Off: Press the trigger to turn the drill on. Release the trigger to turn it off.
- Variable Speed Control: The drill features a variable speed trigger. Pressing the trigger lightly will result in lower speed, while pressing it fully will achieve maximum speed.
- Speed Settings: Use the speed selector switch located on top of the drill to choose between two speed ranges:
- Low Speed (0-350 RPM): Ideal for driving screws and drilling into softer materials where higher torque is needed.
- High Speed (0-1350 RPM): Suitable for drilling into harder materials where faster rotation is required.
- Forward/Reverse Switch: The F/R switch near the trigger controls the direction of rotation. Push it left for forward (clockwise) rotation and right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. Center position locks the trigger for safety.
- Torque Adjustment: The torque clutch ring (18+1 settings) allows you to set the amount of torque before the clutch disengages.
- Lower settings (1-5) are for driving small screws or working with soft materials.
- Medium settings (6-12) are for driving medium screws into various materials.
- Higher settings (13-18) are for driving large screws or drilling.
- The drill icon setting is for maximum torque, suitable for drilling applications.
- LED Light: The integrated LED light illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed, improving visibility in dimly lit spaces.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down all tools with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a light coat of machine oil to moving parts of pliers, wrenches, and the drill chuck to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
- Storage: Always return tools to their designated compartments in the sturdy plastic case. This protects the tools from damage, keeps them organized, and prevents loss. Store the case in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: Store the drill battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging the battery before recharging, and do not leave it on the charger indefinitely after it's full.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect tools for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace damaged tools or parts immediately to ensure safety and optimal performance.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cordless drill does not turn on. | Battery is not charged or not properly inserted. Forward/Reverse switch is in the center (locked) position. | Ensure battery is fully charged and securely inserted. Move the F/R switch to either the forward or reverse position. |
| Battery not charging. | Charger not plugged in. Faulty battery or charger. | Check power outlet and charger connection. Contact customer support if problem persists. |
| Drill bit slips in chuck. | Chuck not tightened sufficiently. Bit shank is dirty or damaged. | Tighten the chuck firmly. Clean or replace the drill bit. |
| Screws are stripping. | Incorrect bit size/type. Too much torque or speed. Bit not fully engaged in screw head. | Use the correct bit for the screw. Reduce torque setting or drill speed. Apply firm, consistent pressure and ensure bit is fully seated. |
| Hand tools feel loose or damaged. | Normal wear and tear. Improper use. | Inspect for damage. If significantly compromised, replace the tool. Always use tools for their intended purpose. |
